You are cordially invited to submit a proposal for the above project. We have attached for your review the schedule of Bid Packages and a brief description of each. In responding to this invite please indicate which BP you will be bidding. For MEP please indicate if you are bidding the Garage or Casino (Core & Shell) or both.
Sealed Bids are due June 19th, 2008 at 2:00 pm in T N Ward's office. Prebid will be on 5/29/08-9:00 a.m. at the Spectrum.
We will forward an RFP with instructions including scope of work, bid form, licensing and contract terms. Additionally, the RFP will advise each bidder on the MBE/WBE/DBE and employment requirements.
The steel, piles & precast are under contract and scheduled to be released in July. The balance of the work will be released November 1st, 2008. Detailed schedule will be in the RFP. Generally the Casino & Garage are an 18 month project, starting November 1st, 2008.
No interior fitout of the Casino is included in this bid only skin, roof & MEP Core & Shell.

Scope of Work: Provide equipment, labor, material, and supervision to complete construction of Interior Renovations; Floor and Pile System in accordance to the Burns Plans and Specifications. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure compliance with requirements briefed at the pre-construction meeting and all work to be complete in accordance to all local, state and federal codes and regulations.(i.e.: Environmental, Safety, Fire Department, security, etc.) The quote shall include cost for all permits and associated fees.
Some of the areas of the building may contain lead and / or other hazardous
materials. These materials shall be removed, stored, transported and disposed in
strict accordance withal state, local, and federal regulations. Hazardous material
disposal will coordinated through Burns and Hyundai Rotem USA.
