Samuel Tabas House Apartments Renovation

Project Description:
TN Ward renovated 322 one-bedroom and efficiency units within this 275,000 SF, 11-story building that TNW constructed in 1974. At a rate of 10 units per week, interior upgrades included new kitchens, bathrooms and flooring. Seventeen ADA units required a total gut & renovation within a four-week period. The project also included common room renovations and an elevator modernization. Exterior upgrades included a new entrance canopy and façade restoration. Daily coordination efforts were essential as residents continued to occupy the units for the duration of the renovations. The project was completed in 11 months.
Pursuant to this project, TN Ward undertook the simultaneous renovations of both the Robert Saligman Apartments and Ephraim Goldstein Apartments.
