Wynnefield Place Apartments
Philadelphia, PA

Project Description:

This four-story, 48,000 SF building includes 48 residential units for low-income senior citizens. The building’s structural system consists of CMU block walls and precast concrete plank floors with a façade of brick masonry and stone accents. A temporary depressed access road was required to complete the foundations and structure within the extremely tight urban site adjacent to existing residences. Rock removal at up to a five-ft. depth on the steep-slope site required vibration monitoring to protect adjacent row house structures.
