SugarHouse Casino – Renovation and Poker Room

SugarHouse Casino – Renovation and Poker Room
SugarHouse HSP Gaming, L.P.
Philadelphia, PA

Project Description:

TN Ward performed casino renovations that included the 1,500 SF High Limit Lounge with high-end finishes and a new acoustical wall at the Refinery stage plus an expanded outdoor deck.  The project also entailed a 60,000 SF multi-phase refurbishment and revised layout of the existing gaming floor to increase table games to 60 and add “Big Bertha” slots. The scope included carpet replacement throughout, upgraded ceiling/wall finishes and a complete gut and retrofit of four public restrooms.

To accommodate the casino renovation work, TN Ward constructed a temporary poker room. This 7,350 SF Sprung Structure was erected and fit-out as an interim poker room within two months. The insulated structure is finished with a black interior liner and houses 24 poker tables with built-in smart phone charging stations. Other amenities included a 24/7 snack bar and a facility for tableside food and beverage service.
