Project Description:

This project included demolition of existing material handling facilities and construction of a new state-of-the-art solids bio-fuel production facility consisting of two new process trains with solids belt and screw conveying, pumping, mixing, rotary kiln drying, product sizing and pneumatic conveying; product silo storage operations; particulate, odor, and organic emission controls; a new electrical substation; site and building utilities including power, digester gas, natural gas, fuel oil, plant air, instrument air, domestic water, plant water, and wastewater; and a new 75-ft.-high, 100,000 SF pre-engineered building with overhead cranes.

TN Ward has teamed with Synagro to develop other facilities in the mid-Atlantic region.
